Yo, Zampa? No fair tossing out names like Ranieri for next season if Parma aren't going to let him go! That just gets everyone all excited and then comes letdown...
How funny was it seeing Palermo stick Cara in the middle of the wall for Totti's kick (the one that scored, bleh!) I think that's a GREAT use for him.
The rosaneri need to work on finishing. They're finally back to moving up the field nicely, but then it falls apart when they get within thinking about shot range.
Also, FUCK. I reckoned Roma would probably win this one, but that didn't mean I wanted the Pinkies to make stupid mistakes and be down 2-0!
Cara out anyone else in for the 2nd half pretty please Palermo coaches?

Date: 2007-05-06 02:09 pm (UTC)I do like Cara on one level, but as you say, he doesn't fit Palermo. He also has a bad tendency to let frustration get the better of him-Exhibit A being the time he got sent off almost as soon as he came on for shoving the ref. On another team, and with someone working with him on keeping his frustration under control, he could do well.
And remember, I only bitch at/about them like this because I love. They're none of them bad players. It's just that putting together a good TEAM takes more than just a collection of good players. (See also: England.)
