Sep. 2nd, 2005 09:16 ambefore i get to the geopolitical stuff, i would just like to say I ITCH. i was fine when i woke up. right before i left the house, i scratched my leg. by the time i got to the foot tunnel, i was itching all over my legs and doing the itchy but shouldn't scratch dance. realized there was a rash all over my legs and a bit on my arms. i think i set a new record for foot tunnel-uni, as i knew i had benedryl in my desk drawer and my arms were starting to itch too. am now at the office, waiting for the benedryl to kick in, and wondering what the hell set this off.

oh, and memo to fema director michael brown: if you describe what's going on in new orleans as "relatively well", i'd hate to see what you classify as piss-poor.
