It's that time again- the time when the orchids move outside for the summer. They get a good soak and a 'power wash' to knock any bugs off, and then they get set on the tables. (After that, the orchid room gets cleaned out.)
This is the Springfield Metro pit stop, which offered food, drink, shirts, bike maps, and repair kits. The sponsors rock. :)
I swear that store exists just to dangle shiny things in front of me at ridiculous prices. Someday, it will go on sale. And I will be there.

It's been rainy and yucky outside all day. So you get a picture of one of the two bargain books I got this weekend at the Natural History museum store* and am currently reading.
*Things I am a sucker for: 1. Museums 2. Books 3. Museum stores 4. Books in museum stores. And then the Smithsonian had to go and have a whole section of bargain books...and it's within weekend cycling distance. I'm doomed.
