i demand instant gratification!
May. 8th, 2005 08:27 pmwant. episode. three. now.
and as long as i'm being unreasonable, i'd like willy wonka immediately after.
and then the hp book.
i was going to see kingdom of heaven today, but it didn't quite happen. we got out of swimming early because the pool was closed, peter let us teachers go at 10:45 since it was unlikely we were going to get in the pool before the next to last lesson. that wasn't bad, because it means i got paid for sitting around talking with the other teachers and enjoying the scenery. i got to canary wharf at 11:20 and made the startling discovery that nothing there (other than hsbc's lobby) is open before noon. (ok, slight exaggeration, the places that do food were open. but not tesco's or waitrose, which was annoying.) and the next showing of kingdom of heaven wasn't until after 1. i didn't feel like waiting that long. so i guess i will have to see it next weekend. i doubt i'll have time during the week. not that i'm terribly enthused about it, but orlando bloom did surprise me by sounding like a grownup in the trailer, so i'm curious.
in other news, my flat is scarily clean and well ordered. there are clean dishes. there are clean clothes. there are clean floors. it's a little strange. (not that my flat is normally a hellhole, i did a serious spring clean this weekend.)
