this article about marco materazzi has made me change my mind about him. now, instead of thinking he's slightly scary, i think he's adorable. yes, i know it's wrong.

finally, apparently david beckham has said he would walk back from america to play for england again. becks has never struck me as the overly egotistical type, so i'm pretty sure he's not implying he can walk on water. this begs the question: is he aware there's an ocean in between america and england?

this is an example of reacting to a referee's decision that goes against you with some modicum of class. please study this example. note the lack of tantrum, threatening to take marbles and go home, lawsuits, etc. you might try this yourselves.
