Dec. 8th, 2005 11:04 amlast night was fun. drinks and dinner at the boudoir, which was a funky little place near barbican. the best part of the venue is that they have two rooms with giant beds (and mirrored ceilings above the beds.)

during dinner, i was sitting at one end of the table, facing the archway seperating the room we were eating in from one of the rooms with a bed, and just as the appetizers came, two drunken not overly young city suits, both male, jumped on the bed-one down on his hands and knees, the other behind him...you can tell where this is going. (i should point out both had their clothes on.) i started cracking up, which tipped off the rest of my end of the table. the two gentlemen in question turned an interesting shade of red when they realized they'd had an audience.
i got to wear my shiny silver strappy shoes (which sadly are probably about ready to be retired) and this dress i got on the saturday shopping trip in croydon to go with the shoes. ( (picture of the dress behind the cut.) )
while i still suspect there was no alochol involved in the alleged "long island ice tea" we had at the beginning, the food was tasty. (salmon, salad, and garlic bread for starter, pumpkin & sage soup, main course was your choice of turkey or beef, both in a very generous portion, served with potatoes, veg, and stuffing, and then christmas pudding for dessert.)
