first-let it be known that i have had a good afternoon/evening and am in an absolutely smashing mood. (good smashing, not hitting things smashing.) i have been swimming and had a lane to myself and was not overly annoyed by stupid boys, not even the one who did the full 90+ degree head turn. i went to the tree lighting in trafalgar square and was not late despite the best efforts of the london underground. i had a chocolate mint bliss from starbucks. peppermint hot chocolate is GOOD. i had more chocolate while watching master and commander. (tescos makes WONDERFUL desserts, and they are conveniently close to the west india quay cinema.)

what i find remarkable is that the english are utterly incapable of leaving me some personal space. i can be the ONLY person on a sidewalk that is about twice my body length (no comments kenny) and some stupid person will try to occupy the same section of the sidewalk i'm walking in. i can be the only one in the car on the tube and the guy that gets on sits right across from me. what ails these people?? i've never been in such a good mood and had so strong an urge to kick people at the same time as i did tonight on the way home.

oh, and master and commander is great. if you haven't seen it, go see it.

when you fall asleep with a cd playing and the radio NOT on "sleep", the radio alarm does not work in the morning.

the only reason i got to uni on time (just barely) this morning is the workmen across the street. they were hammering and banging about and just making tons of noise and it woke me up. i was going to go outside and kill them for making that much noise before my alarm (which goes off at 8am), but then i saw the clock and realized the alarm should have gone off an hour ago.

i'm tired. maybe i'll just sleep all afternoon.

Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

my bank sucks ass. it cost me £15 to send £36 to germany, merely because i needed to send a reference number with it. (normally international transfers cost £9.) it was very tempting to not send the reference number, but i'm actually going to use my bahn card next week, so i don't want to screw up db by not doing it. and the idiot that works there talked down to me. he is a very brave man, considering i am more skilled at math than the entire staff of that branch combined.

however. the moral of the story: next year if i decide it is worth it to renew my bahn card i will pay for it in person, in germany.

i was going to go swimming and then maybe catch a movie, but i now can't be bothered to leave the house again tonight. i am going to instead make dinner and watch a dvd.

oh. found this in brenna's lj. if you've already read it in her lj, don't bother. if you haven't:
go to google.
type in miserable failure.
hit enter.
see what comes up.
