ugh

the sunburn on the back of my arms and parts of my shoulders, which wasn't such a bother last night, is being quite a pain in the ass this morning. (well, pain in the arms and shoulders, but you get the picture.)

and thankfully there was no noise at 4:30, 5:30, or 6:30 from milkmen, idiots with motorcycles, idiots washing windows, etc. there was a car alarm at 2:30 though. *sigh*

the sunburn still hurts. am apalled at what boots calls aftersun. most of it does not involve aloe. i demand aloe. it works. am also apalled at the prices they charge for sunblock. i realize this island doesn't see sun often, but £13.15 for a bottle of sunblock? and why is it only kids' sunblock that's high spf (>15) and waterproof? or does my local boots just suck?
