i have food again

and there was great rejoicing...i have so much food i don't know what to do with it all. i spent £80 on groceries. (before anyone's jaw hits the floor, that also included stocking up on stuff that tends to add up very quickly-batteries, olive oil, meat.) this means i can have something other than pasta for the first time in a while. though i must add that anyone opening our flat's freezer right now does so at their own risk. (it's really sad, but i had to leave an empty ice cream carton in there to save space for the stuff i was planning to get today. certain people will pounce on any free space they see, leaving their old stuff taking up space at the back of the freezer...)

wandered around central this afternoon for a while with kristina and chris b. chris took great glee in showing us (ok, me, he's shown kristina before) berwick st, where he was picking up a record that is his favorite track of all time. after that we walked through the park to show chris where our new place is. then kensington high st for kristina to search out some face cream (no luck) and for a bit of looking in shoe stores.

now i am completely exhausted. amazing how tiring doing nothing can be. and faced with so many choices on what to do for dinner, i might just do pasta anyway. i'm too tired to think about what to eat.
