jerseyfabulousmail that may or may not be passport has not arrived. royal mail tracking number is useless to do anything beyond confirm that said mail has not been delivered. this has been confirmed by an actual person on the customer service line. HOME OFFICE HAS YELLED AT ME FOR TELLING THEM THAT TRACKING NUMBER IS USELESS. home office has also told me they will not speak to me if i "get upset" whereby "upset" did not mean angry, but rather close to tears because they will not tell me if it is my passport in the mail, they will not tell me if they still have my passport, and they will not tell me how to find out if they still have my passport.
what. the. bloody. fucking. hell?
edit: called the home office again. spoke to someone far more reasonable (and pleasant) called jackie but all she can tell me is that i just have to wait for the mail to be delivered and if it hasn't come by friday to call the home office again. there's no place i can go in person. wish i'd thought to write down the name of the person i spoke to before, because i really want to be able to put that in a letter of complaint.
