the weather is awesome

84F, sunny, no humidity to speak of.
so i did some grocery shopping, then did some bike maintanance, then biked into uni taking my time. i think it took me 45mins (genius me didn't look at my watch when leaving the flat.)
did a little better this time. i wasn't trying to get anywhere in a hurry, so i found some of the turns i missed yesterday, and also figured out some things that will come in handy (which lane i need to be in to not fear for my life in greenwich, for example.) also figured out that i am better off sticking to westferry road once i get north of the river. the way through the center is prettier in parts, but confusing for the rest and has really crappy road surfaces.
i'm cooling off for a bit, then going to possibly hit a movie and then bike home, trying to figure out where in greenwich i meant to turn to avoid the high traffic road. have given up on the biking to the pool from uni theory for today because even though the city will be quiet, i left it too late in the day to bike down mile end road not knowing exactly where the turn i want is.

i think i may have sunburnt my face again.

did not like carrying my bike down and up the stairs at the tunnel. (still don't know how many stairs at island gardens, but pretty sure it's 96 at greenwich.)
