ENOUGH already
Mar. 29th, 2005 11:31 amto the parents of terri schiavo:
i understand your situation. i do. you have my sympathy. what you do not have is ANY medical evidence WHATSOEVER to back your increasingly fantastic claims that your daughter is concious, aware, capable of speech, pleading for her life, etc. for the sake of all involved, end this farce. stop playing with the media. stop blaming politicians for not overstepping every semblance of their constitutional powers (or not overstepping more than they already have.) stop blaming people for "killing" terri. you want to know what killed terri? an eating disorder. i've read bulimia in several articles, but most just say "eating disorder". so if you want to be angry with someone, be angry with the overwhelming pressure on young women to acheive unrealistically low body weight. be angry that your daughter fell victim to that. stop vilifying everyone who hasn't agreed with you that terri is still in there. and for the love of god, stop claiming she hasn't had due process. this case has been moving through the courts for a decade. it's been before 19 judges in six different courts. you've had due process and then some.
