washing machine
the washing machine had a belt wear out. with a little luck, spin cycle will work by next week. i can hold out without doing laundry that long.
in other news, i have procrastinated to the last possible minute on the school tasks i wanted to accomplish this weekend. i'm waiting for panic to set in. (i do have a plan, though. it is a good plan. and if i get everything done that is part of the plan, tomorrow's advisor meeting will be a happy one.)
and the apocalypse must be imminent-there is no mountain of dirty dishes in my kitchen. there are precisely 5 things that need to be washed and they are soaking as i type.
