And he even gets to have Fred on his shirt. Apparently DC have some policy about not having one name only on shirts. They need to get over that if they want to have Brazilians.

I may have to start paying attention to MLS now. (Beyond the occasional wild rumor and noting who won and how they're holding up against non-MLS teams, I mean.)

edit Just yesterday, I was saying that the Totti v Sir Alex soundbites were almost as good as listening to the Special One. Clearly, Jose Mourinho must have heard people were saying such things, because today he delivered the goods. And how good it is-impugning Valencia players intelligence, some choice words about diving, and telling us Chelsea are no longer going to spend "silly money". (That noise you hear is the entire rest of Europe heaving a sigh of relief.)

No, he doesn't.:) (I meant to have an analogy here about Jose and not disappointing, but they all kept coming out sounding dirty, so I've given up.) I think I'm going to go find myself a Jose icon. They must exist...

Don't blame yourself -- I find it's very hard to keep any talk about Jose from running into the dirty. And I'm quite sure there's disappointment from Jose on the dirty front, either. Dammit. It's getting hot in here again.

And I was thinking the same thing about icons! I've tried to make one a few times but they've been spectacular failures.

Word is Real Madrid want him. Or possibly Milan. And really, who else in the Premiership could afford him? (Other than ManU, Arsenal, and Liverpool, and I can't see him ending up at any of those.)
